GEOMETRY!!
We have started our Geometry unit! So far you should be able to classify different types of angles, measure angles with a protractor, and created a given angle with the protractor. You will explore the properties of geometry, work on the coordinate grid, and solve for missing measurements using the rules of parrallelograms.
ANGLE CLASSIFICATIONS
Acute
An acute angle is any angle less than 90 degrees.
Obtuse
An obtuse angle is any angle greater than 90 degrees and less than 180 degrees.
Straight
A straight angle is any angle that measures 180 degrees. Essentially this is all straight lines.
TESSELLATIONS!
A tessellation is a pattern created by one shape that covers any parallelogram completely through repeats.
